How we work
The secondees are paid by the BBC to work for the NUJ, and the work is currently done on a job share basis. The Union also has a full time Broadcasting Organiser Paul Seigert, who is assisted by Industrial Secretaries Su and Jamie in the Broadcasting Office.
It’s worth noting that we always have a high number of personal casework to deal with, along with meetings and work across the BBC. The broadcasting office also covers our colleagues in commercial TV and radio. So if we don’t respond immediately, please bear with us.
