Your voice in the workplace

Hello! We’re Raj Ford and Kevin Stanley – the BBC Secondees representing members of the NUJ in the Nations and Regions –  working with the National Broadcasting Organiser Paul Siegert and our colleague John Barsby.

We’re familiar with your rotas, working practices, and ongoing industrial issues. In addition we have a good understanding of the wide ranging roles in the Nations and Regions, a working knowledge of the latest technology and the way your managers operate.

  • Providing support and guidance at a regional and local level, negotiating on behalf of chapels and groups within the workplace
  • Referring members to Legal Surgeries, which are held once a month
  • Accompanying members to individual meetings such as disciplinary hearings, pay reviews and grievances.
